Energy Saving 2.0
Compared to Energy Saving, Energy Saving 2.0 takes energy saving efficiency to the next level and increases up to 26 times the total duration of the dash cam’s Parking Surveillance mode. The dash cam conserves energy by going on standby when entering Parking Surveillance mode and wakes up to record events triggered by impacts only.
* Optional Radar Module is sold separately.
* Parking Surveillance Mode requires Hardwiring Cable or OBD II Power Cable and installation (professional installation recommended).
* Energy Saving Mode 2.0 will disable all THINKWARE CLOUD features.
Radar Module
When in Energy Saving Mode 2.0, the Radar Module allows the U1000 dash cam to extend its Parking Surveillance mode duration by reducing the power consumption. When a motion is detected by the Radar Module, the U1000 wakes up and gets ready to record. If an impact is detected, a 20 second video (10 seconds before and 10 seconds after the impact) is saved in a dedicated folder on the MicroSD card. When no impacts are detected, the U1000 does not save the footage and resumes Energy Saving Mode 2.0.
* Optional Radar Module is sold separately
* Energey Saving Mode 2.0 will disable all THINKWARE CLOUD features.
* Radar motion detection requires optional Radar Module, and only enabled in Energy Saving Mode 2.0.
* Sedan or greater sized vehicle can be detected. People passing by will not be detected.
* Due to nature of Ultra-high Frequency radiation, the distance and degree of detection can be different.
* Not every object is guaranteed to be detected.
* Metal object can cause malfunction of the radar detection.
* Read user manual before using radar module
STRONG IMPACT NOTIFICATION
In the event of a crash, the alert feature can help the driver to notify others of an emergency situation when the driver is not in the condition to do so. The family or the owner of the car can then remotely check on the situation from their location. When the car experiences an impact with a g-force level greater than 3g or 4g while driving, the dash cam will automatically send a push notification alert of the impact to the user’s smartphone logged in to the THINKWARE CLOUD app. A 20 second video of the incident (10 seconds before and after the incident) is also saved on the THINKWARE CLOUD server, and a push notification alert of the video is sent to the user, which can be checked later and downloaded from the app.
* THINKWARE CLOUD requires your smartphone or mobile hotspot devices’s internet connection to be paired with the Dash Cam while driving to send and receive notifications.

VEHICLE LOCATION
Locate Vehicle will help drivers, parents, or fleet managers to find a vehicle’s current location using the THINKWARE CLOUD mobile app. Captured by the U1000’s built-in GPS antenna, the vehicles’ location, speed, and direction of travel is shown in the mobile app on a Google Maps display.

GEO-FENCING
Geo Fencing allows parents or fleet managers to be updated on vehicles’ comings and goings. The U1000 will send a push notification through the THINKWARE CLOUD mobile app if a vehicle enters or exits a pre-selected geographic zone. The radius of the zone can be set easily by simply tapping on the Google Maps display and selecting the desired radius, from 100m all the way up to 600km. Users can set up to 20 different geo fences.

Comprehensive Driving Data Through Built-in GPS
Using the GPS data in Dashcam, it can precisely pinpoint the vehicle’s location and routes with its driving speed on the map. The GPS helps you accurately assess the status of the accident by providing you with the vehicle speed, the direction of the collision and the severity of impact. The DASH CAM not only records driving footage but can also be used to track and recall past driving routes whether it be work or holiday routes.
